ELECTIVES have been rescheduled!  Wednesday, February 21st is the new day for us to hit Snow Valley again.  If you weren't able to make it the first time, hopefully you can join us in round 2.  Unfortunately, all the paperwork must be filled out again AND the online survey.  The new link is found here: https://goo.gl/forms/gM7dk9kQXEmoHmNH2 As was the case before, your child will have to log in to their Gapps account first before connecting with this link.  I have also posted it on the google classroom if this is easier for you.  The school cash online won't be up and running until tomorrow, so don't fill this out tonight.

2.  COURSE SELECTION:  On Feb. 12 the course selection process opens for our kids.  This will end on Feb. 23rd.

1. ESSAYS: I have given feedback to all students who completed their essay framework.  I have also given each student a copy of the rubric.  If your child has lost it, I have posted an electronic copy on google class.  Probably the best way to prepare for the essay is to have a look at the rubric and the framework with your child, and have them do a "verbal" essay.  The in-class has been moved to next Monday morning.  Make sure your child gets plenty of rest over the weekend.

2. Reading bonus #2 is up and running.  You have until Feb. 14 at 8:30 to submit your answers.  A perfect score...

FRIDAY!  We will be doing an inter-class challenge called "Dog Sled Race".  Owen has offered up the two sled for the event, but I'm looking for two 50' ropes (even better would be two water ski ropes).  If you have either of these, please let me know!   Students: bring boots, hats, mitts, coats...we will be outside.  You have been warned!
