KUDOS TO: Denys for winning the first parkour challenge (10 seconds)
HOMEWORK:

ENGLISH:
1. Students will need a book for independent reading by Monday.  This could be a book from home, or it could be a book from our classroom library.  Either way, your child will need to have it in class every day.

2. We will be showing our learning skills videos on Wednesday, so some students will need to do some editing this weekend.

MATH:
1. We finished our diagnostic math, learned about estimation, and will begin our integers unit on Monday.

FRENCH:
1. Students have assembled their dossiers and are now getting ready for a "who am I?" unit.  They also sang "Happy Birthday" to Julia (it was lovely).

HISTORY:
1. The 8s and I are examining the controversy surrounding the name change of "Sir John A. Macdonald" from some schools.  Next week we will dig a little deeper into Sir John A's past, keeping a balanced perspective as we do!

GEOGRAPHY:
1. Next term
