KUDOS TO
: Denys: on Friday, while discussing the residential schools in History class, I mentioned that as a kid, I never learned about this topic - even though it was still happening.  Denys put up his hand and said: "So, is it possible that there is something just as terrible happening right now and we don't even know about it?"  That kind of worldly thinking is terrific.  Kudos, Denys.

HOMEWORK:

ENGLISH:

1. No Red Ink: first assessment (diagnostic) online.  Due Wednesday.

2. Book talks continue...we will also be selecting novels for our next unit of study.

MATH:

Measurement test this Thursday.  If you have questions about the content, bring them to me at workroom or in class and we will take them up.  Tomorrow, we present our: "How much is a million?" popcorn kernels.  Be sure you can explain: 1. How heavy, long, tall...1,000,000 kernels are, and 2. How you came to discover that amount.

FRENCH:

1. Students selected a French book from the LC.  We will be doing book talks (yes, in French!), so students need to know their books (they are very small kids books) inside out.

HISTORY:
1.  Some students came to do the re-do, but not all that should have...

ART:

SCIENCE:

Presentations start on Tuesday
