HOUSEKEEPING:

1. MUSKOKA TRIP: 1st payment and registration form due December 20.

2. WONDER: Payment and permission forms - hand them in, because we are going this Friday!

3.  COURSE SELECTION:  Parents and Guardians: don't forget to sit down with your child and do a "'practice" course selection through Career Cruising.  Do not put this off!


4.  Select five suitable minute to win it games.  Have the list on a piece of paper so we can quickly share them.

  
KUDOS TO:   Jamie, Natalie, and Kaitlin for being the first students to figure out the formula (n-2) x 180 to determine the total degrees in any polygon.  As well, kudos to Denys for coming up with his own working formula!


HOMEWORK:

ENGLISH:

1. Select three fun "minute to win it" activities to share with the class tomorrow.


2.  NOREDINK: New task (Assignment #3) is due tomorrow: December 13th.  It's all about sentence fragments.  Some students have already finished the homework! 

3. Continue submitting ideas to the "Sexual Harassment in the Workplace" on google docs

4.  NOVEL STUDY: Today is the final week.  After today your child should have their 8 vocabulary words, 2nd 8-box activity done, and 2 "Freedom vs. Security" entry completed.  Still waiting for Luke and Carson's (due last Friday). 
   


MATH:

1. UNIT TEST: The geometry unit test will be on Thursday.  I gave the grade 7s my daughter's grade 7 test to use as a study guide (teachers steal everything).  The grade 8s and I sat down and did some anticipation of what could be on the test.


2. Cheat sheet on sticky note is due tomorrow morning.  If you do not hand it in first thing, you cannot use it! 

3. Grade 7s are working on a tessellation project IN CLASS.  If you see them doing it at home, take it away and burn it. 


FRENCH:
