HOUSEKEEPING:
1. This Thursday, our grade 7 and 8 classes will be walking to Aurora High to experience their Career Showcase. So far, I have only 17 permission forms returned. Get them in tomorrow, please. As well, make sure your child is dressed for the weather that day as we are walking to the high school.
2. COURSE SELECTION: Parents and Guardians: don't forget to sit down with your child and do a "'practice" course selection through Career Cruising. Do not put this off!
3. HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION: The green registration form that came home in the red folder is due Tuesday, January 30.
4. Grade 8 Grad photos January 30th at 9:00. Start getting your beauty rest.
5. Still waiting for two kids to complete their Grade 9 Course Selection Survey on Google Classroom. I need that info!
KUDOS TO: Aimee and Jamie for helping lead the bball drill in gym class.

MATH:
1. For those who didn't get their quizzes signed, the re-do won't count until you have that signature.

FRENCH:
1. Book talks continue tomorrow for those who haven't yet presented. Be ready. I know who you are.
2. We will be having a dictee tomorrow based on the words from the first two wordscapes we completed in class yesterday.
HISTORY:
1. Grade 8s: we will have one more period tomorrow to finish your prezi presentations. If you feel you need additional time, start working on it at home. Remember: no plagiarizing! Use your own words! Cite your sources!
