HOUSEKEEPING:
1. Tomorrow, our grade 7 and 8 classes will be walking to Aurora High to experience their Career Showcase. Make sure your child is dressed for the weather that day as we are walking to the high school.
2. COURSE SELECTION: Parents and Guardians: don't forget to sit down with your child and do a "'practice" course selection through Career Cruising. Do not put this off!
3. HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION: The green registration form that came home in the red folder is due Tuesday, January 30.
4. Grade 8 Grad photos January 30th at 9:00. Start getting your beauty rest.
KUDOS TO: Mobin, for completing and presenting our first passion project. Very cool dancing robot, Mobin.
HOMEWORK:
ENGLISH:
1. Rick Mercer Figurative Language is due Monday, January 22nd.
2. Feedback for Mobin's passion project. The survey is on google drive.
MATH:
1. For those who didn't get their quizzes signed, the re-do won't count until you have that signature.
2. Grade 8: the quiz today on scientific notation was an utter fiasco. Review your notes and your homework from last night to be ready for tomorrow's task: create anchor charts. Mini-kudos to Allen, Aidan, and Jennifer for being the only three to pass the quiz.
3. Grade 7: the math quiz survey is NOT homework. You will get time in class tomorrow to finish it.
