HOUSEKEEPING:


1. Grade 7 + 8: Movie Night!  Friday, April 20, from 6-8 p.m.  "Despicable Me 3" will be showing on the big screen at DDPS.  The cost is $2 per person, limit of 6 tickets per family.  If you would like to order tickets, please complete the orange form sent home and return it to me no later than April 11.

KUDOS TO:  7/8L for winning the inter-class games challenge!  We won by one point, so savor your victories - each one counted.  As well, special thanks to the class for singing "Tomorrow" in the assembly.  Wholly unexpected (and thoroughly unpleasant). 

HOMEWORK:

ENGLISH:

1. Round one of the literature circles will take place next week.  This means students need to have one quarter of the book read by Wednesday (lots of reading this weekend).  The assignment for the lit. circle will be given out on Monday.

MATH:
1.   We will do the last leg of the Math challenge on Monday.  Then, we begin a new geometry unit for the 7s and 8s.





FRENCH:

1.  TEST!  "Mots de la Semaine" on Monday.  We went over the format of the test as a class and then did a practice one.  We also talked study strategies.
