HOUSEKEEPING:

1. Camp Muskoka is a tech-free zone.  Please ensure your child does NOT bring their cell phone/tablet/abacus...Any devices will be stored in a Ziploc bag and returned at the end of the trip.

2. Look at the Science Classroom (Google Class) where the grade 8 "Packing List" for the upcoming Muskoka trip is found.  It may not be ready by 4:00 p.m. today, so check it out tomorrow.

ENGLISH
1. Lit circle activity #3 is due tomorrow: THE LOCKER.   You include should not appear in a literal sense in the novel.  E.g., if the character is always playing with a rubber ball, I don't want to see that in the locker.  More like, if the character is always thinking about his mom who is away on a business trip, maybe there is a photo of her in the locker. 


2. 1-7-3 Paragraph reflecting on yesterday's lesson is due tomorrow. It's on google classroom.


3. Passion Project: Thursday is our next session.  Make sure you have materials/work to do for that time.


4. Reading bonus is up and running! It's due Friday at midnight.


MATH:
1.   Math bonus is up and running.  This is due tomorrow.


2.  Grade 7 Geometry test came home today.  Please take a moment to look it over with your child tonight. 


3. Measurement quiz (unit conversions) came home today.  Some students need to redo this quiz(indicated on the quiz itself).  I will have workroom tomorrow to help anyone prepare for the redo.


FRENCH:

1.  Yesterday's reading test was handed back at the end of the day.  Ask your child to show it to you.

Health Grade 8:1.   List of 20 foods that are good for you (specifically), divided up by breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and beverages).  This is due tomorrow
