HOUSEKEEPING:

1. Grade 7 + 8: Movie Night!  Friday, April 20, from 6-8 p.m.  "Despicable Me 3" will be showing on the big screen at DDPS.  The cost is $2 per person, limit of 6 tickets per family.  If you would like to order tickets, please complete the orange form sent home and return it to me no later than April 11.   



2. Don't forget to make your "Farewell Henry" videos and have them to me by Thursday. 

3.  Wear pink tomorrow in support of anti-bullying



4.  Wear a hockey jersey on Thursday in support of the victims of the Humboldt tragedy


  
KUDOS TO
  The grade 7s: you have learned the geometry unit with alarming speed.  I can't wait for the 60 degree challenge - I think we may have some contenders for the cup. 

HOMEWORK:

ENGLISH:

1. Round one of the literature circles will take place TOMORROW!  This means students need to have one quarter of the book read by Wednesday.  The assignment is up and running on google class - it's called "Save the last Word". 

2. 
 NoRedInk: There is an assignment due Friday on context (quotes) and punctuation (also quotes).  This will be helpful for the literature circle activity, so do it first!


MATH:

1.   Grade 8: you have 8.3 on the uts due tomorrow.
