Thursday, April 19, 2018

A number of students have a significant amount of reading to do for their lit circle books - talk to your child about setting aside time every night to read.

HOUSEKEEPING:

1. VORC permission forms are due Wednesday!  Grade 7s - get on it!  I still need a form from: KC

2.

KUDOS TO
The Escape Room Group!  It's a blast designing the rooms with you guys.  Can't wait to see this come to life.  Jennifer, Jamie, Aidan, Aimee, Allen, Natalie, Ethan, Luke, and Robbie.

HOMEWORK:

ENGLISH:

1.
Lit Circle #3 takes place on Wednesday: the task is to trick out your locker.  Remember: it's a metaphorical locker, so the items you include should not appear in a literal sense in the novel.  E.g., if the character is always playing with a rubber ball, I don't want to see that in the locker.  More like, if the character is always thinking about his mom who is away on a business trip, maybe there is a photo of her in the locker.

2.  Passion Project: next Thursday is our next session.  Make sure you have materials/work to do for that time.

MATH:

1.   Math bonus is up and running

2.  The unit conversion paper handed out today is due Monday.  There will be  a quiz on this topic on Monday.

FRENCH

1.  Test on Monday for the final reading

2. We will upload your "dialogues" on Monday
