HOUSEKEEPING:


1. Borrow eBooks and audiobooks from the YRDSB school collection.  Visit http://yrdsb.lib.overdrive.com.   In order to login to access Overdrive, students will need to add a zero to their student number to login (0xxxxxxxxx)

2.  Flag football party/scrimmage is tomorrow after school.  No permission form, no play.

HOMEWORK:

ENGLISH:

1
. Book talks are starting.  Every student has been given access to the rubric on Classroom: look it over with your parents and prepare any questions you may have.  As well, the outline is there for you to use!  There is also a copy of the "Book talk in 10 steps" lesson.  We will be presenting late next week. 

2. 7-word summary test on Thursday.


MATH:
1. Students need to have completed the 10.4 block on the UTS as well as the page of word problems (they worked on this in class today).

FRENCH:
1. Students will have a French test tomorrow: they will need to know all of the provinces, territories, and capitals of Canada...in French!

2. Students need to continue practising "5 par jour". 

HISTORY:
1.  Grade 8: next class we will finish the Banner presentations.  I think we are on Alberta.  Then, we will finish our "Let's make a country" activity.

ART:

1. Finish 1/2 of the card.

SCIENCE: 

1. Grade 7 science test on biomes on Thursday.  Finish eco-system page.


MUSIC:
