HOUSEKEEPING:

1.  Grade 7: immunizations will take place on Tuesday, October 10.  If you have not already sent a completed consent form to York Region Public Health, please do so by requesting a form from me (Mr. Le Moine). Detailed instructions on how to complete and submit the form can be found on the form and accompanying letter. If a completed consent form is not received, your child will not be able to be vaccinated at the clinic.

KUDOS TO:   Karen: she volunteered to share her "5 par jour" without the help of her notes.  Beautiful pronunciation and natural delivery.  Well done, Karen!

HOMEWORK:

ENGLISH:
1. I wrote a sample reading response letter today and shared it with the class via google class.  Please take a look at your child's response (it has been graded - it is formative) and after reading it, ask them: what will you do to change it for next time?

2. Bring novel to class.  Practise summarizing tv shows, books, films, conversations you have with yourself...

MATH:
1. We finished making the videos today (they were brilliant).  We finish up order of operations tomorrow with the homework (yesterday's) and then a quiz.  On to ALGEBRA!

2.

FRENCH:
1. Students need to continue practising "5 par jour".

HISTORY:
1.  GRADE 8: Many many many students did not hand in their timelines today.  If your child did hand it in, they were given it back with a "SWAG" stamp at the bottom.  No stamp, no completion.   Grade 8s also were given back their tests today (Confederation).  If they have less than a level 3, they may re-do it by initiating a conversation with me.  BUT, their test must be signed.

ART:

1.

SCIENCE:

1.

MUSIC

1. Music test on Theory next Tuesday, October 10.
