HOUSEKEEPING:
1. The kids have a lot of work right now and I have been very flexible giving time in class, helping manage the load, and discussing strategies to get through this. If you could have similar conversations at home about how you cope with deadlines as they come up it would be very much appreciated. Dinner time conversation starter!
2. Edge Imaging portraits came home. Online orders are pretty easy to do; instructions are on the package. Photo orders are due November 2, 2017
3. Grade 8: a permission form came home for our trip to Aurora High on Nov. 1. Please have it signed and bring it back to school.
KUDOS TO: Karen, Luke, Denys, and Mobin who got perfect on the first % increase/decrease quiz. As well, congratulations to Luke for beating me in the "Who is a better teacher" contest. Kudos also to Kaitlin for winning the Canadian Map Speed Challenge - no one knows Canada like Kait knows Canada.
